Founder & Tutor

Hi, I am Lynne, a native English speaker living in sunny South Africa. I am a fully qualified English teacher with a Certificate in English Language Teaching and over ten years experience as a tutor. I also speak the African dialects of Afrikaans and Chalapalapa. 

Lots of people struggle to learn a new language, possibly having bad experiences in school. I want to counteract that with a natural way to learn, at your own pace, by bringing English to life through authentic conversation, with personalised topics that interest you.

My students are often amazed at how quickly they improve. It’s a real joy to see them holding conversations fluently. I look forward to you getting in touch so we can discuss your learning goals!

Tuition Packages

Being able to speak in another language is hugely rewarding – whether for travel, socially, for business or even just for fun. We can tailor our tuition to meet each of your aspirations.

We focus on conversational learning, to enable you to hold conversations in English, and tailored to your unique interests. We provide a fun and memorable learning experience in a supportive environment. Our lessons are held online, through Zoom, Teams, Skype, or WhatsApp – whichever you feel most comfortable to use.

Our tuition packages can cater specifically for those looking to learn English for their business needs and we can prepare you for any exams that you need to take.

We offer English tuition to all ages from five upwards – it’s never too early to begin developing a new language!

Author & Tutor

Hi, I am Andrew, an English children’s author, poet and tutor, with a passion to inspire others to learn in fun, imaginative and innovative ways, honing my craft over the last fifteen years. 

When teaching younger children I love to use an ‘All About Me’ book that I have written and illustrated to draw out what is important to them. As we work together their own unique book is created!

Working with older children and adults I love to find out what interests them, tailoring sessions to their needs.

I am determined to make the language learning process fun and creative for all my students. Learning happens so much faster when you are enjoying it!

Teacher & Tutor

Hi, I am Vicki, a qualified teacher and English tutor, passionate about teaching English and investing in people’s lives.

I particularly enjoy helping students with their reading and grammar, and enabling them to work out the meaning of words using a variety of techniques.

I started my career teaching high school English, but for the last twenty years I’ve taught TESOL all over the world to adults. I have lived in six countries on three different continents.

I have six grandchildren and a Yorkshire terrier who is my constant companion.
